O.J. Simpson is set to go free in October.

(TriceEdneyWire.com/NorthStarNewsToday.com) - The four-member board voted today to release Orenthal James Simpson, known as “O.J” or the “Juice,” in October after he serves a minimum of nine years of a 33-year sentence for a 2008 armed robbery and assault with a weapon conviction.
He has been imprisoned in Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada, for trying to retrieve his sports memorabilia at a Las Vegas hotel. Simpson, a hall of fame college and National Football League player, actor and television broadcaster, bowed his head, thanking board members.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he said. Parole board members questioned Simpson during a videoconference, which was broadcast by all of the major television networks. His conviction comes 13 years to the day after a Los Angeles jury acquitted Simpson of the murder of ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.
